Welcome back, Kate!

The Duchess of Cambridge is set to return from maternity leave very soon. Palace officials announced on Tuesday that after 6 months away following the birth of Prince Louis, the mother-of-three will make her return to public royal life on Tuesday, October 2nd.

According to Kensington Palace, Kate will be visiting the Sayers Croft Trust Forest School and Wildlife Garden at Paddington Recreation Ground, one of the United Kingdom's 46 wildlife trusts.

While Kate began maternity leave in March, before Prince Louis' birth, she has stepped out on a number of occasions, including Prince Harry's wedding, the Trooping of the Colour, Wimbledon and Prince Louis' christening. Most recently, the duchess attended the wedding of longtime friend (and Princess Charlotte's godmother!) Sophie Carter, where Charlotte acted as bridesmaid and George as a page boy.

While Kate's schedule won't return to its busy norm until 2019, she'll make an appearance at many events throughout the rest of the year. Next up after Tuesday's outing? Princess Eugenie's wedding!
