Meghan Markle stuns in protocol-pushing Carolina Herrera dress at Trooping the Colour

Married life suits her! Meghan Markle glowed as she made her first appearance at the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony.

The Duchess of Sussex made her first formal engagement since her May 19 wedding to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 92nd birthday. For the occasion, Meghan dazzled in an off-the-shoulder custom Carolina Herrera dress that pushed protocol and a matching Philip Treacy hat.

To complete the look, the 36-year-old royal wore her brunette tresses in voluminous curls and what looks like Essie's Ballet Slippers on her fingernails.

After a carriage ride to Buckingham Palace, Meghan and Harry joined the rest of the royal family on the balcony of the queen's official residence.

Thousands of royals fans flocked to the Palace just to see a glimpse of Meghan, Harry and the rest of the royal family. Meghan could be seen exchanging chuckles with Duchess Kate and Duchess Camilla, while the young royals, including Princess Charlotte, were totally blown away by the Royal Air Force fly by.

Duchess Kate, who is currently on maternity leave, also made an appearance at the Trooping the Colour. The Duchess of Cambridge donned a stunning mint dress by Alexander McQueen and a hat by Juliette Botterill.
