Meghan Markle steps out in chic pantsuit alongside Prince Harry at WellChild Awards

Updated

On Tuesday, Duchess Meghan joined Prince Harry at one of the most touching events of the year: the WellChild Awards.

The WellChild Awards "celebrates the inspirational qualities the UK’s seriously ill children and young people, along with those who go that extra mile to make a difference to their lives." Prince Harry has been involved with this children's charity for years, but this was Meghan's first time attending the event.

For the event, the duchess stepped out in a stylish all black pantsuit ensemble. She paired an Altuzarra suit with a blouse from Deitas and finished off her outfit with a pair of black stilettos, a small black clutch and her signature messy bun. Meghan also wore the sweet pearl and diamond earrings that were a gift from Queen Elizabeth to the awards.

Wearing a pantsuit may be seen as another bold style choice by Meghan as it was previously reported that Prince Harry was not a fan of suits. This is apparently due to the fact that it goes against the traditional royal protocol of women wearing skirts or dresses at formal affairs.
