Queen Elizabeth is lending Meghan Markle her special adviser -- here's why

There's no downtime for Meghan Markle following her wedding to Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex has a lot to learn about being a royal, so much so that Queen Elizabeth has lent her one of her most trusted aides -- Samantha Cohen.

The 49-year-old, whose telling nickname is 'Samantha the Panther,' has moved from Buckingham Palace to Kensington Palace to teach Meghan the ropes. The new royal is ready for the "six months of listening" she will endure, according to Daily Mail.

"She is seeking out advice from a range of people. She is going to proceed with humility. It is not going to be quiet, though. It is going to be a very busy office. She has worked every day of her life. She is used to a demanding schedule," a source revealed.

Samantha reportedly had a lot to do with Meghan's more polished appearance at Prince Charles' 70th birthday bash. The former actress wore one of her most sophisticated and regal looks to date -- a pink-and-white Goat dress, Philip Treacy hat and a Wilbur & Gussie clutch. She even wore tights and styled her dark locks in a low, tight bun instead of the usual leg-baring, messy bun looks we've seen her step out in.

One thing is for sure, after 17 years of experience in Queen Elizabeth's inner circle, we have no doubt that Samantha will transform Meghan into the ultimate royal. For more on Megha, watch the video above.
