Meghan Markle absolutely dazzles in first appearance as a royal in Goat dress -- see pics!

What honeymoon? The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first appearance as a married couple on Tuesday at Prince Charles' 70th birthday bash. Of course, Meghan stole the show with her regal look!

The 36-year-old royal stepped out in one of her most sophisticated ensembles to date -- a pink-and-white, long-sleeved dress from Goat that grazed her knees, complete with a matching Philip Treacy hat and a clutch. Her Royal Highness also sported a side chignon bun (a huge departure from the messy buns she usually loves to rock) and nude tights (instead of her usual leg-baring outfits).

If you recall, Meghan has received criticism in the past for breaking the unwritten royal dress code with her modern looks. But it looks like Charles' party was also the former actress' debut as a more refined and polished princess.

Meghan looked right at home as she stood giggling next to her in-laws Charles and Camilla at the Buckingham Palace event. While Charles' birthday is months away (in November), the royals are celebrating a tad bit early in order to enjoy the sunny weather.

The newlyweds are putting off their honeymoon for a little bit in order to get some royal events under their belt. However, several locations in Africa such as Namibia and Zimbabwe have been floated as top contenders for destinations.
