Met Gala 2018: Amal Clooney makes dramatic entrance in floral Richard Quinn look

Updated

What an entrance! All eyes were on Amal Clooney as she arrived at the 2018 Met Gala red carpet on Monday night.

The human rights lawyer donned a look by London-based designer Richard Quinn, who was the first recipient of Queen Elizabeth's British Design Award earlier this year.

Amal, one of the hosts of this year's gala, turned heads as she hit the steps of The Met in a metallic corset with black pants and a dramatic floral overskirt peppered with red roses throughout. To complete the look, she donned a pair of black pointed stilettos and glittering chandelier earrings.

Makeup artist extraordinaire Charlotte Tilbury kept Amal's makeup simple with a fierce red lip (using CT's 'Siren Red' hue) and a smokey eye with a hint of sparkle (using CT's rose gold 'Exagger-Eyes' palette). As for her tresses, Amal styled her hair in a slightly messy updo.

Accompanying the brunette beauty was her husband George Clooney who looked absolutely dapper in an Armani black tuxedo.

The couple put on an adorable show in front of the cameras, with George sweetly giving his ladylove the spotlight while posing for photos. Check out the slideshow above for more photos of Amal and George at the 2018 Met Gala!
