Duchess Kate shines in floral Erdem gown for glamorous gala in Sweden

Updated

Gorgeous! Duchess Kate looked absolutely flawless in floral at a black-tie dinner in Sweden on Tuesday night.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 36, stole the show in a saffron yellow Erdem dress at a dinner hosted by the British ambassador in Sweden's capital of Stockholm. Kate and William were joined by Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden, 40, and her husband Prince Daniel, 44. The two couples stopped and posed for photos before greeting guests.

While Princess Victoria looked regal in a black satin dress, it was Princess Kate who had heads turning in her breathtaking ensemble with ruffles adorning the high neckline. She kept the rest of her look simple, styling her brunette tresses in a chignon bun and accessorizing with a pair of Kiki McDonough earrings she wore earlier in the day and a merlot-hued clutch.

The floral frock by the London-based fashion house is quite a bold choice for Kate, who often leans toward lace-and-sparkle-filled ensembles for black-tie affairs. For the Royal Variety Performance in November 2017, the mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte stunned in a glittering, ice-blue Jenny Packham gown.

Kate and William's visit to Stockholm is only the first stop of their Scandinavian tour. The two are set to visit Norway this week. Watch the video above for more on Kate and William's tour!
