Duchess Kate sparkles in Jenny Packham gown for Royal Variety Performance
Duchess Kate sparkled -- literally! -- during a fun night out on the town with husband Prince William.
The royals attended the Royal Variety Performance at the Palladium Theatre in London over the weekend, and they looked radiant as ever.
Kate dazzled in an ice-blue Jenny Packham gown with ornate embellishments and sequins, which she paired with silver Oscar De La Renta pumps. She added even more sparkle to the look by wearing Queen Elizabeth's diamond chandelier earrings. Kate, who is expecting baby No. 3 in April, styled her tresses in soft curls while keeping her makeup subtle with a simple smokey eye. Meanwhile, Prince William looked dapper in a simple black tuxedo.
Kate and William were all smiles as they walked hand-in-hand inside the venue. The Duchess strategically covered her tiny baby bump with a clutch, but you could still catch a peek of it from the side. Photographs from inside the venue showed the royal couple having a blast as they mixed and mingled with guests.
In recent years, the Queen has taken turns with Prince Charles to attend the show. However, the baton was passed down to the younger generation of royals in 2014 when the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their debut. In 2015, it was Prince Harry's turn. The event is in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, which the Queen is patron of.
This year's show was hosted by Miranda Hart and included performances by the Killers, Paloma Faith, Louis Tomlinson and the Script.
