First Lady Melania Trump gets her fast food fix at Whataburger while in Texas

It seems that the first lady is just like us!

Melania Trump, along with Karen Pence, made a stop at a local Whataburger in Corpus Christie, Texas on Wednesday. The two were in town to assist with Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

The first and second lady were joined by Texas governor Greg Abbott's wife Cecilia as they stood at the counter and contemplated their order. Outside waited Secret Service and the press pool, who were soon treated to warm fries by Trump and Pence. A reporter claims Trump and Pence paid the bill.

With nearly 820 locations across the south, Whataburger has become a favorite amongst Texans and visitors alike. The family-owned institution first opened its doors in Corpus Christie in 1950. After hearing about the presidential visit, Whataburger treated out a "thank you" to the first lady.

We're not sure if Melania treated herself to a burger, given her strict diet, but we're hoping she splurged for the visit!

Trump and Pence met with first responders and victims of Hurricane Harvey, and later visited an elementary school and food bank. To brace for the cold during her humanitarian trip, Melania sported a $1000 Rag & Bone puffer coat, knee-high stiletto boots and khakis.

Earlier this year, Hurricane Harvey ravaged parts of Texas, Louisiana and parts of Central America. Causing nearly 200 billion in damage, the Category 3 storm left thousands with destroyed homes, no power or access to food or medical care.

Melania, alongside President Trump, visited the victims of the storm while causing massive backlash for her choice in footwear.
