Duchess Kate's chic style before she became a royal: See the photos!

Ugg boots! Spaghetti straps! Oh my!

Before Duchess Kate transformed into a coat dress-wearing, tiara-rocking royal, she fell victim to all of the unfortunate fashion trends in the early 2000s. But in typical Kate fashion, she looked fabulous in anything she put on.

While we're sure Princess Charlotte will probably look at these throwback photos when she's older and give her mom a hard time, there's no denying that Kate rocked trends even before they became mainstream.

Kate's outfits in the early 2000s consisted of bootcut jeans with tank tops or crop tops and her go-to pair of suede boots (in neutral hues of brown and black, of course).

The future royal worked as an accessory buyer with British retailer Jigsaw after graduating from St. Andrews, so her outfit was never complete without a few accessories. Her favorite? She always wore a hat, so that's probably why we're always in awe of her ascots!

When Kate decided to hit the town she opted for some form-fitting LBD's that hugged her teeny frame.

While the mother of two's style has changed dramatically since becoming a royal, Kate has proved that she's been the queen of style ever since the moment we laid eyes on her.
