Neiman Marcus is now selling $1,425 torn and dirty sneakers

Updated

They say if you look good, you feel good, but what exactly constitutes good is very much up for debate.

It's not enough for just Nordstrom to have dirty jeans for sale. Now you can purchase heavily distressed high tops designed by Maison Margiela for the low, low price of $1,425 at Neiman Marcus. Don't worry, shipping is free.

The sneakers are white with yellow accents and appear to be the type of shoe a parent would have their kid change into when they play outside.

But at $1,425 a pair, these should be reserved for fancy occasions, like a date night. Of course, you might want to hold off for the first date. You wouldn't want your date to think you can't afford dinner.

The shoes are just part of the designer collection including a boot that has no back and is therefore referred to as a sandal and some low top sneakers that have "replica paint splatter" and cost $595 dollars a pair.

Really though, who is buying this stuff? It can't be anyone outside the Kardashian family, right?
