Kim Kardashian will be attending the 2017 Met Gala without Kanye West

When a pregnant Kim Kardashian first hit the Met Gala red carpet with Kanye West in 2013, it was big news. After all, one year before, rumors had swirled that Anna Wintour had "banned" the reality star from the event. However, 4 years (and a Vogue cover) later, she's pretty much a star staple at the affair.

One thing will be different about her appearance this year, though. Husband Kanye West will not be on her arm. According to ETOnline, one source said, "He's staying in Los Angeles with the kids. He's just tending to the family right now and taking time off from public events."

A couple weeks ago, Kardashian received backlash after joking that the flu was essentially her Met Gala "diet." As always, all eyes are sure to be on her Monday night.
