Duchess Kate Middleton dazzles in red, sheer dress for opening night of musical

Updated

Another day, another headline about our favorite royal family.

On Monday, puzzle pieces started coming together about the weekend of Prince William's infamous ski trip (no, Duchess Kate wasn't just sitting at home stewing). Today, the royal mom stepped out for a night at the theater, and she was glowing in a sheer, red Marchesa Notte dress.

The princess, 35, attended the opening night of the musical 42nd Street at the West End in London on Tuesday to support East Anglia's Children's Hospice (EACH), a charity for which she's been a patron since January 2012. The organization provides a place where "young people can live life to their full potential" across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Kate's glamorous ensemble for the occasion may make you rethink what you wear the next time you take in a show. She kept her look color-coordinated, matching her suede clutch, Kate Spade tassel drop earrings and pumps perfectly to the embellished tulle midi dress from Marchesa Notte. It looks like Kate even made the dress her own, as the original raw hem appears polished and the sheer sleeves seem a touch longer and more conservative.

The dress retails for $1,195 -- and while it's low in stock, we did some digging, and it's still available at Saks Fifth Avenue, Net-a-Porter and Farfetch. Run like the wind!
