Slowly, but surely, millennials everywhere have found their own parents, relatives, teachers, friends' parents — you name it — infiltrating nearly every social media platform.

Thankfully there's been one App that seems to have remained relatively untouched by Gen-X and Boomers alike — That app is Venmo.

Venmo is a money-sharing platform that allows users to transfer one another set amounts of money (anything from a $1 slice of pizza to rent dues.)

But it looks like some parents are starting to come around to this whole "Venmo-thing" — and the resulting chaos that has ensued is both cringeworthy and hysterical, all the same.

In order for Venmo transactions to send, the user sending money has to enter a caption describing what the money being sent or requested is for.

And in typical millennial fashion, users often use this feature to send crude, hilarious and nonsensical captions, laden with inside jokes that have literally nothing to do with the payment being made.
