This $1,000 Negroni is having all proceeds going to charity
Whatever your vice may be, sometimes you just need something refreshing, relaxing or expensive — or maybe all three at the same time.
For some, that might come in the form of a $1,000 cocktail (Yes, one cocktail!)

But if we're shelling out over a grand for a few sips of something bubbly, it better be made with the rarest, most pristine ingredients or serving some greater good.
Luckily, this drink manages to do both.
Lot 45 in New York City will be serving up "The $1,000 Negroni" in celebration of Negroni Week, which runs from June 5 to June 11.
The beverage combines Campari, Gran Patron Platinum (which retails at over $200 per bottle) and Carpano Antica Vermouth.

But here's where the decadence comes in — The drink is topped with rare black truffle, hand shaven on site, and then garnished with an orange peel boat containing a custom, handmade cocktail caviar and rich Caluisius Siberian Caviar.
Edible platinum flakes are also added as the entire cocktail is smoked with Applewood smoking wood chips to add a savory note that enhances the truffle shavings and the flavors that you're paying for.

But fear not, this drink doesn't purely serve all those wishing to indulge in the most expensive version of the Negroni on the market — all profit and proceeds from the drink will go directly to charity.

The drink's creator, Rael Petit, shared:
"As a bartender it is always an exciting time when Negroni Week comes around every year- it's campaigns like this one that make my job so rewarding. For The $1,000 Negroni, all proceeds will be going to Muttville, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of senior dogs. Muttville rescues senior dogs and finds them new homes."
2017 a record-breaking year after 5 years of Negroni Week being established with 7,000 partners signed up to participate worldwide.
