Whole Foods offering $5 self-serve green juices at select locations -- Here's where

Updated

There seems to be a cult-like phenomenon surrounding Whole Foods stores.

With a seemingly never-ending supply of organic goods and the healthiest selection of fresh produce and snacks galore, it's no surprise that Whole Foods shoppers have the reputation of being ultra-zen health freaks.

And now it looks like the company is embracing its health-centric stereotype by their juicy new partnership with Juicero.

Beginning March 2017, Juicero will launch specialty juice bars in 11 Whole Foods locations on the West Coast.

But these aren't just ordinary pop-up juice bars – Juices will be self-served by the glass, with customers simply pushing buttons to create the juice of their choice and walk away with one in a matter of minutes.

Oh, and they're only $5 – A far cry from the typical $8-10 pricey green juice at local juice bars and chains.

The machines will offer seven different signature juices, including Sweet Greens, Spicy Greens, Root Renewal and Beta Glow.

President of Whole Foods Market Southern Pacific Region, Patrick Bradley, shared his excitement about the new initiative:

"Juicero offers our customers a new and unique cold-pressed juicing experience. Juicero allows for a convenient, affordable cold-pressed juice that meets our high quality standards and we're excited for our customers to have this new option for grabbing a juice on the go."

The Whole Foods locations that will be offering the Juicero setups are:

Santa Monica - 1425 Montana Ave.
Pasadena - 465 South Arroyo Pkwy
Redondo Beach - 405 North Pacific Coast Hwy
Playa Vista - 12746 West Jefferson Blvd
Irvine - 8525 Irvine Center Drive
Newport Beach - 415 Newport Center Drive
Laguna Niguel - 23932 Aliso Creek Road
Huntington Beach - 7881 Edinger Ave Suite 150
La Jolla - 8825 Villa La Jolla Dr
Brea - 3301 Imperial Hwy., corner Valencia Avenue
Tarzana – available March 10 - 18700 Ventura Blvd

Here's to hoping Whole Foods can squeeze all they can out of this one – We'd love to see some over on the East Coast!
