Hadid family mansion on the market for $85M

Updated

It's undeniable that Gigi and Bella Hadid have been absolutely slaying the runways this past year, especially this past week at NYFW.

And though we wish we could give you a cutesy story about how their success hails from humble beginnings, we're here to tell you that the exact opposite is, in fact, true.

The supermodels' father, Mohamed Hadid, is an extremely successful real estate and property developer who built his own home named Le Belvédère, an $85M estate in Bel Air.

Chateau, castle, mansion – call it what you will.

This 35,000-square foot palace is enormous, exquisite and almost as breathtaking as the Hadid sisters themselves.

Le Belvédère's listing poetically sums up the essence of the property :

"Le Belvédère rivals the grand palaces of Europe in its romantic beauty and majesty while embracing the security and convenience of today's most up-to-date technology. Generous in scale and intimate in comfort, this is an estate designed foremost as a home: inviting, warm, private and spectacularly beautiful."

Take a look for yourself:

Sitting on 2.2 acres, the home boasts 15 bathrooms and 10 bedrooms total, including two separate master suites.

Other notable rooms include a master ballroom (you know, for all the supermodel-stocked parties of your dreams), a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, a gym, movie theatre and a swan pond, just for good measure.

The property was built by Hadid and sold in 2010 – But, oddly enough, the new owner's never moved in, leaving Hadid to rent the property out for the past seven years.

It's back on the market for $85M so we'd venture to say you have just as much of a chance of being able to afford this house as you do landing Gigi or Bella's career.
