Tom Brady is impressed by Mark Wahlberg's abs in shirtless Instagram snap

Mark Wahlberg is a noted superfan of the New England Patriots — and the feeling is mutual.

Boston-raised Wahlberg, 48, showed off his shredded physique in an Instagram photo this weekend, and the shirtless snap caught the attention of none other than Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.

"We are looking for some skill players," Brady, who's not in bad shape himself, quipped.

Wahlberg, who's currently filming his upcoming Netflix movie "Wonderland," later responded to Brady, "Let Coach know I'm coming for that spot!"

Fellow ripped celeb Mario Lopez also weighed in, commenting, "Show 'em what fellas in their 40s are all about! You look awesome bro!"

The "Transformers" actor's intense daily workout routine is rigorous: He wakes up at 2:30 AM every single morning to start his day, and by the time the clock its 7:30 AM, he's already worked out, eaten two separate meals, showered and played a round of golf.

In addition to advocating for clean eating and plenty of exercise, Wahlberg's also thrown his support behind particular multivitamins and protein powders. His Whole Food Multivitamin has perfect 5-star reviews on Amazon.
