Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez share new photos of proposal: Look!

Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez shared new photos of Rodriguez's proposal on Tuesday, three days after he popped the question to his girlfriend of two years on Saturday.

In the photos that both of the stars posted, Rodriguez can be seen getting down on one knee in the sand as he slides Lopez's $1.4 million engagement ring onto her ring finger and looks into her eyes. The series of photos then show Lopez leaning down to embrace her new fiancé and kiss him on the lips.

Lopez donned a flowy blush two-piece ensemble with her hair up in a casual bun for the romantic moment, while Rodriguez opted for white pants and a gray sweater.

The singer captioned her post with the date of the proposal -- "3.9.19." -- while Rodriguez wrote, "Locking it down. #futuremrsrodriguez"

Lopez and Rodriguez further opened up about their new engagement with a black-and-white photo of Lopez hugging Rodriguez after his proposal that they both posted on their Instagram Stories.

"There aren't many words to share with you, only feelings," she said. "Gratitude. Excitement. And just...joy. We know there is work to do to keep building a family and future we can be proud of, and we can't do it without all of you. We are so thankful for all your messages of love and congratulations."

The dual posts come three days after the couple announced their engagement on Saturday night from their Bahamian getaway, which simply showed Rodriguez holding Lopez's left hand newly adorned with her massive engagement ring.
