Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez's wedding: Early details emerge on upcoming ceremony

It's only been a few days since Alex Rodriguez popped the question, but details of his and Jennifer Lopez's future wedding ceremony are already spilling out.

People reports that all of Rodriguez and Lopez's children from previous marriages played a big role in the success of their relationship -- and, fittingly, they'll play just as big a role in the nuptials.

"Their initial strong attraction for each other would have quickly faded if they had not been able to come together as a family," People reports, quoting an insider.

And while blending families can be difficult, the kids "have wanted Jennifer and Alex to get married for a long time," the source claims. "They will all definitely be a huge part of the wedding."

At ages 10, 11 and 14, the kids have grown close over the course of their parents' relationship. Well before the engagement, Lopez and Rodriguez already referred to everyone together as a "family," sharing carpools, vacations and holidays.

Rodriguez shares daughters Ella, 10, and Natasha, 14, with ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis. Lopez and ex-husband Marc Anthony are parents to son Maximilian and daughter Emme, both 11.

The couple announced their engagement late last week.
