Kim Kardashian West steps out in totally sheer vintage Azzedine Alaïa

Kim Kardashian West has been looking to her archaic closet for all of her most recent ensembles.

Her latest look? A 1991 totally sheer lace leopard bodysuit by Azzedine Alaïa that Naomi Campbell debuted on the runway when she was 21-years-old. And as you know Alaïa is a "totally important designer," as Cher Horowtiz would say. Styled with a Parisian beret and Yeezy PVC heels, Kim took to Instagram to share an impromptu photoshoot inside her Paris hotel room of her next-level look.

The KKW beauty mogul jet set to Paris just as Paris Fashion Week was coming to an end, and this wasn't her first vintage Alaia moment of the week.

The day before, Kim wore a head-to-toe leopard catsuit with the matching coat, gloves and shoes from the same Fall 1991 RTW Alaïa collection. The fierce statement-making ensemble made just as much noise as it did back then as it is today (thanks to Kim's reclaim.) The late designer's early '90s show garnered overwhelming responses and is famed to be his most successful collection.

The triumphant return of vintage has become so prevalent on today's biggest A-listers, that it's almost ironic. From Dior's '00s monogram logo to Fendi's 1965 Zucca double 'F,' celebrities are reviving fashion's most important eras and bringing them to the red carpet.
