Luke Perry's 'Beverly Hills, 90210' and 'Riverdale' co-stars express shock, well-wishes after reported stroke

Luke Perry's current and former co-stars are sharing their shock and support after the actor reportedly suffered a stroke this week.

Ian Ziering, who rose to fame alongside Perry on "Beverly Hills, 90210," posted a photo of him smooching his co-star on the cheek in the 1990s.

"No words can express what my heart feels hearing today's shocking news," he wrote. "Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery."

Fellow "90210" star Shannen Doherty shared a photo of the two sharing an intimate scene together. "My friend," she wrote. "Holding you tight and giving you my strength. You got this."

Doherty is no stranger to serious health situations herself: She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015.

Also sending their well-wishes were Perry's current co-stars from "Riverdale." Lili Reinhart wrote that she is praying for his recovery, while Cole Sprouse simply wrote, "Love you bud."

Perry's rep has confirmed that he is "under observation" at a California hospital but denied TMZ's report that Perry is currently in a medically induced coma.
