Justin Theroux and Emma Stone: Friends or more?

The pair, who struck up a friendship after working together on the upcoming Netflix series "Maniac" co-starring Jonah Hill, was spotted leaving Rihanna's after party at Up & Down together on Monday night. They hopped into a SUV on 14th Street with pal Shailene Woodley.

The sighting came after the duo reportedly "were together all night" while they "mingled with guests and both drank Armand de Brignac," a source told E! News. Vanity Fair's Josh Duboff confirmed as much, writing that Stone made the rounds "before stationing herself with" Theroux.

Though all of the reports about the duo maintain that they're just friends, they had also been spotted out to dinner together at Manhattan hotspot Blue Ribbon Sushi in SoHo the previous Wednesday.

Speculation around Theroux's love life has skyrocketed in the months since his unexpected split from longtime love Jennifer Aniston, and the "Leftovers" actor seemed to anticipate the interest in the nature of his relationship with Stone last month when he posted a photo of them together on his Instagram story.

In a photo taken during an Easter brunch at Theroux's apartment, the actor and "La La Land" actress posed playfully on a coach with "Queer Eye" breakout Jonathan Van Ness. Theroux captioned the photo "Bffffffs. And yes. JUST bfffffs."

Since breaking up with Aniston, Theroux has also been connected to fashion photographer Petra Collins, who is a longtime friend of Selena Gomez's. Gomez and Aniston have a longstanding friendship, as well, and Gomez recently unfollowed Collins on Instagram. That being said, Gomez was reportedly friendly with Theroux during a recent run-in in NYC.

Meanwhile, Stone had most recently been connected to "Saturday Night Live" staffer Dave McCary.
