Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott name their baby Stormi

Kylie Jenner has revealed the name of her newborn daughter: Stormi.

The "Life of Kylie" star made the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon, two days after revealing that she'd given birth to a baby girl on February 1.

Jenner shares her daughter with boyfriend Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster. It's unclear at the moment which last name Stormi will take.

Stormi weighed 8 lbs. and 9 oz. when she was born at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center last Thursday. Kourtney, Kim and Rob Kardashian's children were all also born at the same hospital.

Kylie's surprise baby announcement on Sunday caused mayhem hours ahead of the Super Bowl, as it was the 20-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder's first time addressing her pregnancy publicly in any capacity.

In a brief statement on social media, Jenner revealed why she had kept her pregnancy a secret from her fans.

"I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions," she wrote. "I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness."

"Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering and life changing experience I've had in my entire life and I'm actually going to miss it," she continued. "I appreciate my friends and especially my family for helping me make this special moment as private as we could."

"My beautiful and healthy baby girl arrived February 1st and I just couldn't wait to share this blessing," she finished. "I've never felt love and happiness like this I could burst! Thank you for understanding."

Along with the statement, Kylie shared an 11-minute video documenting her pregnancy, giving her followers their first look at how she spent her last nine months. In three days, it's garnered over 37 million views.
