Amy Schumer, Paul Rudd, Jim Gaffigan and "Saturday Night Live" stars Aidy Bryant, Colin Jost and Vanessa Bayer were all on hand to lend their support for the event that raised nearly $400k to fund in-home care for families struggling with Alzheimer's. Also in attendance? Gina Gershon, "Southern Charm" star Shep Rose and "Suits" actress Sarah Rafferty, among others.

"My mom was diagnosed at 55, and I felt very alone at that point, but then, of course, I realized that I was not," Miller Rogen told AOL Entertainment about her decision to raise awareness about Alzheimer's.

"Anytime you make something digestible, it's better," her husband, Seth, told us about using comedy for good. "Creatively, it's always been something that we're drawn to -- trying to deal with the worst things in life in ways that hopefully don't make you more miserable. Life is already miserable, so you don't need people to make it more so!"

"Comedy, in today's world is the only way to deal with everything," Gershon echoed to AOL Entertainment.

After opting to skip the red carpet, Schumer opened the event with a hilarious stand-up routine, during which she opened up about her recent breakup from ex-boyfriend Ben Hanisch. More on that here.
