After two months of high-profile vacation, public outings and teasing fans, new couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez made their red carpet debut on Monday night at the 2017 Met Gala.

The picture-perfect couple stepped out for the invitation-only affair, and they were all smiles as they posed for adoring photographers on the Met's grand staircase.
Lopez embodied 1960s Hollywood glamour in a flowing, light blue Valentino gown that she styled with Harry Winston diamonds. The refined look was a welcome departure from Lopez's usual revealing red carpet ensembles -- though, don't get us wrong, we love a good jaw-droppingly revealing J.Lo red carpet look!
Rodriguez looked incredibly dapper in a classic black and white tuxedo.
The couple also delivered the night's cutest moment when the former Yankees star was photographed taking a photo of Lopez on his iPhone as she posed alone for the paparazzi.

Of course, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez weren't the only show-stopping couple to make an appearance on the 2017 Met Gala red carpet. Selena Gomez and The Weeknd also made their red carpet debut on Monday night, while other couples like Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend and Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian stepped out together.
