WE Day 2017: Red carpet arrivals

Stars stepped out for a good cause on Thursday for WE Day 2017.

The event, which features musical performances and speeches by celebrities and social activists, encourages young people in schools to get involved in local -- or global -- charitable initiatives.

Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Alicia Keys, Jessie J, Josh Gad and Madison Beer were just some of the big stars that supported the event on Thursday, which took place at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

WE Charity was founded by children's rights advocate Craig Kielburger back in 1995 aimed at inspiring and empowering children to give back and dedicate their time to service.
