Time 100 Gala: Red carpet arrivals

It was a star-studded night at the 2017 Time 100 Gala on Tuesday night in New York City.

Honorees for the magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world braved the torrential downpour in Manhattan for the ceremony at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Demi Lovato dropped jaws in a stunning blue gown with a plunging neckline, while Viola Davis wowed in an off-the-shoulder purple ensemble that she complemented with massive emerald earrings. Margot Robbie looked elegant in an off-white sleeveless look adorned with multi-colored jewel embellishments, and Megyn Kelly was uber-chic in a mid-calf metallic number.

John Legend, RuPaul, Raf Simons and Trevor Noah were some of the male honorees that looked dapper as ever at the event.

But it was Blake Lively and honoree Ryan Reynolds who were the showstoppers of the night. Lively looked gorgeous in an extravagant floral Marchesa dress with multi-colored fringe, while Reynolds looked handsome in a navy tux.

Other stars in attendance included Naomi Campbell, Leslie Jones, Ashley Graham and Sarah Paulson.
