Serena Williams' rep confirms pregnancy

Yes, Serena Williams is actually pregnant.

Though the all time tennis great seemingly announced her pregnancy on Snapchat on Wednesday morning with a sly Snapchat bathing suit selfie that simply read, "20 weeks," she promptly deleted the photo once it started making headlines. Plus, hours came and went without a statement from her or her team confirming the news.

But, by Wednesday evening, Williams' rep got in touch with NBC News to confirm the exciting baby news.

"I'm happy to confirm Serena is expecting a baby this fall," Serena Williams' rep said, according to Senior News Editor, Bradd Jaffy.

It's still unclear why Williams decided to delete the photo. She's currently engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. For more on her pregnancy, read here.
