Duchess Kate and Prince William make first joint appearance on St. Patrick's Day following his wild ski trip

Trouble in paradise?

All eyes were on Duchess Kate and Prince William on Friday after a report claimed she was "less than pleased" with her husband's behavior during a "lads-only" ski trip.

Kate and William honored soldiers from the Irish Guards on St. Patrick's Day in London before they set off for their highly-anticipated trip to France.

The St. Patty's Day engagement is the Duke of Cambridge's first royal appearance after he was spotted partying in the Swiss Alps just a couple of days ago.

Footage of the Duke of Cambridge partying at a club made its rounds on the internet, with many raising their eyebrows over a moment in which he seemingly grabs an unidentified woman by the waist. Photos of the prince also hanging out with Australian model Sophie Taylor also surfaced.

Kate, 35, was all smiles in an outfit perfect for the St. Patrick's Day event. She wore a forest green Catherine Walker bespoke coat with a matching hat and gold shamrock pin.

The mother to adorable Prince George and Princess Charlotte was a total social butterfly as she was spotted talking to numerous guards. It looked like Kate was having a blast and she even took some photos with the guards.

Her husband, on the other hand, looked quite grim-faced as he stood alongside Kate. However, he did manage to crack a smile during what seems like a funny exchange with his ladylove.

In just a few short hours, the pair will make their way to Paris, marking William's first official visit to the City of Light since the death of his mother, Princess Diana, nearly 20 years ago. However, the 48-hour trip has clearly been overshadowed by William's booze-filled vacation. The two will be the guests of honor at a black tie dinner with many prominent people set to attend.
