Kate Middleton reportedly 'less than pleased' about Prince William's ski trip antics

In case you missed it, Prince William made headlines on Tuesday for his "dad dancing" after a video of him letting loose in a nightclub in Verbier, Switzerland, surfaced. The duke infamously skipped a Commonwealth Day service earlier in the week to go skiing with his friends -- hence the now-viral footage.

Vanity Fair calls the move "significant and controversial," seeing how the Queen considers the service to be "one of the most important in the royal calendar." Not to mention, it hasn't gone unnoticed that the royal dad of two has only attended 13 royal engagements in 2017 so far, while the Queen has shown face at a whopping 24 -- after recovering from a serious illness no less.

Watch the video everyone's talking about below:

Duchess Kate ultimately opted out of the Commonwealth appearance, as well (for an unknown reason), leaving the Queen, Prince Charles and Prince Harry to attend. Kate was nowhere to be found on the Swiss excursion, either (hence it being referred to as a "lads trip") -- and now, a source is telling Vanity Fair that the duchess is "less than pleased" about William's behavior.

What behavior, you ask? A little dancing never hurt anybody, right? Well, that's not all.

Reports say that at some point in the evening, William placed his hand on the waist of an unidentified, mystery woman. The moment is said to have been caught on camera, as well, but that footage has yet to surface to our knowledge. A photo of William high-fiving Australian model Sophie Taylor did, on the other hand, surface on Tuesday.

Here are a few faces we imagine Kate could be making right about now:

As one source told Vanity Fair, "It was William's choice to go away, but make no mistake Kate wears the trousers in their marriage, and she won't be happy with William's antics. She thought his partying days and larking around with the boys was a thing of the past. I imagine she'll find this humiliating and William will have come in for a pasting." Uh oh.

The royal duo is expected to leave for a state visit to Paris on Friday, and we have no doubts that body language experts will be on the lookout for telltale signs of trouble in paradise.

For now, though, look back on William and Kate's cutest moments:
