Stewart dons a series of shirtless blazer looks throughout the spread, with her platinum blonde hair slicked back in every snapshot. On the bottom, she sports tights of varying colors over a black thong, as well as simple pumps.

The notoriously private star, who isn't on social media herself, sounded off on social media -- and technology in general -- in the issue's cover story.

"But you also become addicted to that hit by yourself and with yourself, every seven minutes or so, and you end up wasting so much time just validating something very superficial in yourself," she said of social media. "It has definitely changed us."

Over the past year or so, the former "Twilight" star has also been more and more open about her sexuality. Most recently, the actress proudly proclaimed during her "Saturday Night Live" monologue that she was "so gay." She's been linked to a handful of female stars, including singer St. Vincent and current flame, model Stella Maxwell.

In her interview with V Magazine, Stewart revealed that she got unlikely motivation to embrace her true identity from fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld.

"Karl has always, from the very beginning, made me feel like being myself was the right thing to do," she explained. "And in [the fashion] world, that is a rarity."
