'Flip or Flop' star Christina El Moussa reveals daughter's heartbreaking reaction to divorce news
Christina El Moussa is further opening up about her divorce from ex and fellow "Flip or Flop" star, Tarek. In People's most recent cover story, the HGTV favorite revealed the heartbreaking way her 6-year-old daughter, Taylor, reacted to news of their split.
"She didn't ask" when the family first moved out of their shared home because they're "always remodeling [their] house or the yard," so temporarily relocating wasn't unusual for the family of four. The difference this time, of course, was that it wouldn't be temporary -- so Christina had to explain what was really happening.
"Taylor asked if we could get back together," Christina told People. "We had to explain that sometimes couples get divorced, but that she and Brayden are our No. 1 priority."
"We'll always be a family," she continued.

Since their split -- which came to late last fall, months after it happened in May -- the couple has had its fair share of ups and downs, but have seemingly made peace with their situation. Both Tarek and Christina opened up about the split in two separate appearances on the "Today" show and "Good Morning America," respectively, and revealed that they're in a happy place right now.
Not only that, but they're also continuing to work together. The former couple was photographed in good spirits while filming their HGTV hit, which echoed their claims that they would carry on with their show.
Since the split, too, both stars have been romantically linked to other people. Tarek reportedly had an affair with the couple's nanny -- and her friend -- while Christina briefly dated contractor Gary Anderson. Christina revealed on "GMA" this week, though, that they have since broken up.
