Rosie O'Donnell as Steve Bannon: Jaw-dropping photo emerges on Twitter

Just a few days after Rosie O'Donnell volunteered to portray President Donald Trump's chief strategist, Steve Bannon, on "Saturday Night Live," a photo has surfaced showing what that might look like -- and it's almost too on the nose.

Twitter used @Principat0 tweeted a photo at O'Donnell on Thursday night of her face superimposed on Bannon's with the caption, "A @Rosie picture is worth a thousand words."

O'Donnell swiftly replied by saying, "Exactly."

The photo almost immediately went viral, as "SNL" viewers around the country yearn for another moment like Melissa McCarthy's already-classic portrayal of Sean Spicer on last week's episode of the sketch comedy show.

Considering the reports that Trump was decidedly unhappy with McCarthy's viral moment, one could assume that O'Donnell would take extra pleasure in mocking one of Trump's closest advisers on national television. The pair has a long-documented feud that dates back over 10 years, with the two repeatedly trading blows through the years.

Earlier this week, O'Donnell confirmed as much when she tweeted, "Available - if called I will serve," in response to a fan asking if she'd be interested in playing Bannon.

Judging by the photo above, it would be an impersonation for the ages.

O'Donnell recently reignited her feud with Trump:
