Selena Gomez seemingly confirms relationship with The Weeknd in deleted Instagram post

Updated

Selena Gomez and The Weeknd have been enjoying a whirlwind trip to Florence, Italy over the past week, and it seems as though Gomez may have just confirmed their relationship on her official Instagram account.

In a post that was since-deleted (but obviously already reposted by faithful Selenators), the "Hands To Myself" singer shared a quick black-and-white video of her rumored new beau while enjoying a boat ride.

The clip shows the "Can't Feel My Face" crooner rocking some shades and a denim jacket over a camo hoodie. Though Gomez can't be seen in the video, her voice is unmistakably in the background.

"Okay, we'll figure it out I guess," she can be heard saying, before a woman replies "exactly!"

Gomez and The Weeknd have been fueling rumors of a serious romance ever since they were photographed making out and cuddling following a dinner in Santa Monica a few weeks ago. About a week later, the pair jetted off to Florence, where they've been enjoying sightseeing and showing more PDA that their adoring fans have been loving.

The response to their alleged relationship also garnered some backlash, though. The Weeknd's ex-girlfriend, model Bella Hadid, almost immediately unfollowed Gomez on Instagram after the initial photos of them leaked and was reportedly "pissed" about the development.

"Bella still wants to be with him," a source said last week. Not only that, but she thinks that Gomez is "using" him to gain more attention for the "sexy" music that they've been making together.

It looks pretty real to us!
