He may have started creating six-second Vine videos , but this summer Thomas Sanders is taking his humor to the road. The "Ultimate Storytime" tour is a live musical comedy that stems from Sanders' social videos.

Thomas said the humor in the tour is good natured and everybody has a silly side to them. As he notes, "I think its important maybe now more than ever, to realize there is still silliness and happiness and things to be happy about."

There's no doubt Sanders' humor is good natured and relatable. He's amassed over 8 million followers with over 6 billion loops on Vine. He hopes to inspire his audience to be themselves and write their own narration.

The tour will hit 17 cities around the country, accompanied by characters from his hilarious social series. The tour will wrap up at Playlist Live -- an event where online creators and their fans can come together. If you want to see Thomas before his tour ends, you can get tickets here.

We recently caught up with Thomas Sanders to talk about "Ultimate Storytime" and what he hopes the audience takes away from the show.

Tell us what you're most excited for when it comes to your "Ultimate Storytime" Tour?
I'm really excited to take a piece of comedy on the road and meet so many people I otherwise would not meet and show them something you wouldn't get on Vine. It has the beauty and the comedy. Some if it is the musical comedy of my Vines but on a stage. Getting to see some of my supporters first hand enjoying the experience is something I am extremely looking forward to.

Is there a message you want to convey to fans on this tour?
Yes, actually. I hope they take away a good message of not letting anybody dictate their own story. Or having anybody else tell them who they are, describe them. The show was born out of my whole "Storytime" series which is a series of Vines I made narrating peoples lives. So, it's born out of the idea that I'm narrating the characters but the characters have other sides and stories. We all have stories to tell and they shouldn't be dictated. I hope they leave with that message.
