Inside the surprising protest scene at the RNC

The 41st Republican National Convention came with a more than a few notable moments. The most important, Donald Trump formally accepting the presidential nomination. Several speakers took the stage at the RNC to speak in support of the candidate.

However, hundreds gathered outside of Quicken Loans Arena to have their voices heard. Some rallied in support of Trump while others rallied for his demise. Leaders from all groups gathered urging both sides to exercise peaceful demonstrations.

Here's a look from the streets of the 2016 Republican National Convention:

1. Despite the mostly peaceful protests at the convention, one turned chaotic and led to more than a dozen being arrested during a flag burning:
