Kate Middleton rocks sporty look at regatta
Kate Middleton can just about pull anything off!
The Duchess of Cambridge may be known for her pretty, demure dresses -- but the 34-year-old royal showed off her sporty side at the America's Cup World Series sailing regatta on Sunday in an athletic polo with her team's colors: blue, gray and red.
The stylish mother of two paired her activewear top with simple black leggings, her favorite Monsoon nude wedges and heart-shaped diamond drop earrings. (Similar shoes here, earrings here.) Later, Middleton bundled up in a matching, monogrammed windbreaker and casual Adidas Pure Boost X training shoes with bright blue shoelaces for a ride on a catamaran.

The Duchess, who is a patron of the 1851 Trust, a foundation to inspire the next generation of English sailors, also caught up with her old friend, Sir Ben Ainslie, at the event. Ainslie, a competitive sailor on Britain's national team, enjoyed a fun trip on the open waters with Middleton in May when she accompanied him for a training session.
