Celine Dion and Kathie Lee Gifford shared an emotional moment together Friday morning on the "Today" show.

Gifford and Dion's conversation struck a chord when she asked the singer about her emotional moment at the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, which was just a few months after her husband, Rene, had passed away. Gifford's own husband, Frank, died in August of last year.

"I lost the man of my life," Dion explained to Gifford. "But I cannot live thinking this way. I have to say, 'I found the best man in the world.'"

"I feel very strong because my husband gave us wonderful luggage," Dion continued to say. "The luggage that we have will carry us for the rest of our lives and showing our kids that mom is fine, and we're going to be okay [is very important."

Gifford and Dion both teared up as they discussed -- and talked to -- their deceased husbands, prompting a light-hearted moment when a tissue box came down from the ceiling.
