Citing demand, Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment have added an additional seven shows to the North American leg of Beyonce's Formation stadium tour. The new shows, as well as the makeup date of the postponed May 5 Nashville show (now on Oct. 2), will follow the European leg of the tour.

Among the added shows is a third New York area performance, set for Sept. 7 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. Also new to the mix is a second L.A. gig at Dodger Stadium on Sept. 14. Second shows have been added in Santa Clara, Calif., Houston, Atlanta, and Philadelphia, and promoter Live Nation's Global Touring division has also plugged in a show for New Orleans on Sept. 24.

Formation is emerging as one of the biggest tours of 2016, and appears headed toward a total Boxscore that will top $200 million, Billboard estimates. Beyonce has developed into one of the elite touring acts in the world. Her Mrs. Carter World Tour of 2013-2014 grossed $212 million from attendance of nearly 2 million to 126 shows, according to Billboard Boxscore. Following that tour, Beyonce embarked on the On The Run co-headlining stadium run with her husband, Jay Z, which grossed $96 million, from 832,769 tickets sold to just 19 shows in North America.

Tickets for all performance go on sale May 13.
