Sugarland's Kristian Bush just released a solo album, and we couldn't be happier

If you don't know Kristian Bush from his debut solo album, 'Southern Gravity', you might know him as one of the creative musical forces behind the Grammy, ACM and CMA winning duo, Sugarland. With the kind of epic success the Tennessee-born singer/songwriter gained through his praised and accoladed career with Sugarland, there was no question that Bush's career would continue to soar, even solo.

The award-winning artist clearly takes his tunes seriously, as we saw him rock out at this past weekend's Tortuga Music Festival. At the festival, which boasted tens of thousands of attendees, Bush was able to connect with countless fans while simultaneously contributing to a cause to be proud of.

Bush embodies the storytelling nature of country music in his emotional and versatile new album. 'Southern Gravity' is just that -- reminiscent of the country music we know and love, with the gravity of a man with a story to tell. And even if you hadn't heard any of the tracks from 'Southern Gravity', the sentiment and quality of Bush's music was obvious at his epic performance at the three-day country music festival.

Besides all the talent that touched the Tortuga stage when Bush was performing, every single attendee, both performer and patron, was there to contribute to a bigger cause: Rock the Ocean. When's a better time to sit back and enjoy Florida sun and quality country music than when you're donating to the greater good?
