After debuting her namesake collection in 2013, Marissa Webb is quickly making a name for herself in the fashion industry and the designer's newest collection proves that it's only a matter of time until she becomes a household name.

Although the designer made her debut at Clarkson Skylight Garden, Webb is anything but a newcomer -- and her new Fall 2016 collection proves it.

The former Banana Republic Creative Director's new collection showcased a balance of classic, feminine lines and bold colors. It was her first NYFW since leaving the clothing brand in October 2015.

Webb played it simple, but safe, creating chic, wearable ensembles that any modern-day woman could wear off-the-runway and on-the-run.

The majority of the line was reminiscent of classic menswear, with trousers and neutral colors donning most ensembles, with the exception of flowing dresses that featured a refreshing pop of yellow.

The ultimate winner of the show was the deep red faux fur jacket, which was donned with a light grey alpaca turtleneck, worn with wide-legged trousers.

Although Webb played it safe during her NYFW show, her entire new menswear-inspired collection features such simple, yet striking separates that any woman would want in her closet, further proving that the designer has the chops to make it big in the fashion industry.
