With four weeks left to play, the team that spent nearly three months pursuing a 16-0 regular season may not even end up with a first-round bye.

Last week's edition of our power rankings was the first time all season that New England surrendered its top position. After dropping a second consecutive game, to the sub-.500 Philadelphia Eagles no less, there could be as many as five or six teams ranked ahead of them heading into Week 14.
