In one of the most bizarre crimes that occurred over Halloween weekend, police in the United Kingdom were dispatched when a group of men dressed as traffic cones took their costumes a little too seriously.

ITV reports that Kingston Police sent out a tweet about the incident report early Sunday morning. The report states simply, "males dress as traffic cones, blocking the road like traffic cones."

Witness Dan Theochari sent a photo of the men in action in a response to the Kingston Police's tweet:

Theochari told the Evening Standard that he saw the coneheads' performance on Clarence Street in Kingston at around 4:40 on Sunday morning.

Theochari added that although he didn't spot the police on the scene, the prank did make him laugh.

Kingston Police told ITV that although they could see the humor in the situation, they advised the men to stay off the road.
