Steve Jobs: 'Death Is Life's Best Invention'

On October 5, 2011, Apple co-founder Steve Jobs left his legacy after creating and growing the biggest company in the world from scratch in a garage. The man who brought us the MacBook, the iPhone, the iPod, the iPad, and many other incredible products that have revolutionised the way we interact with technology and with each other, was 56 years old when health complications due to cancer ended his glorious life.

The news of his death hit the world and a multitude of fans gathered to commemorate the legend who navigated and led some of the most innovative ideas in Silicon Valley. Jobs realized the importance of transforming computers into something that everyone should have and could use, therefore introducing a user interface that was light years ahead of the competitors. Since the company's first personal computer, the long way of disrupting the electronics market led him to create new ways to consume and transport music - with the iPod-, as well as new means of communications - as the iPhone- that became the standard of perfectly designed and functional products.
