3-year-old girl wandering the streets at night leads to shocking discovery in her home

On Sunday night, a 3-year-old girl was found wandering the streets of Landsdowne, MD covered in blood. When bar security guard Frank Myers spotted the little girl in a CVS parking lot around 10 PM that evening, he went over to speak to her. Myers said of the encounter:

Myers and a co-worker called the police and helped officers canvas the area with the girl. They had no luck finding the girl's home. She was taken to Social Services. On Monday morning, the police finally found out where the little girl lived. Upon entering the house, they found the girl's mother dead and covered in blood. Cpl. John Wachter of the Baltimore County Police said:

Investigators are looking into possible footage from surveillance cameras outside the home. They are still awaiting autopsy results.
