Like a bittersweet scene straight out of "The Notebook," a video has surfaced on social media of a 92-year-old man singing a love song to his dying wife in her hospital room.

The song, Rosemary Clooney's "You'll Never Know," clearly holds meaning for the lovely couple as Howard, the man, sobs while singing the memorized lyrics to his beloved wife, Laura. As we watch Howard look longingly into Laura's eyes, we see years of adoration and devotion between the sweet couple.

As Laura, clearly weak and unable to sing along, lies in her bed and watches her husband sing, she continuously tells him how much she loves him and that he must "behave" after she's gone. Although Laura can't sing, she whispers the words to Howard throughout the serenade.

We hear family members sobbing in the background as they watch the genuine, completely in love couple share one of their last moments together. Their granddaughter, Erin Solari, shared the video on Facebook. In the caption, she wrote:

"I was lucky enough to capture this precious, heart-melting moment between the two of them. Howard (Grandpa) is singing to her their love song, the song that comforted her when he went away to fight in World War II. Sadly, Grandma is now too weak to sing, but that doesn't stop her from saying the words to him (see at 1:00 ). Howard then takes over for her and sings the rest of the song to her while stroking her face."

Laura was able to go home after the video was taken. She is spending her final days resting at home with her beloved Howard. The emotional video has been viewed more than 3.4 million times.
