Who wore what this weekend: New York Fashion Week, Toronto Film Festival and more

This weekend was one for the celebrity style books as stars appeared in the midst of New York Fashion Week, the Toronto Film Festival and the Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Stars pulled out all the stops in their efforts to dress to impress throughout the weekend.

The three biggest weekend trends were neutral tones, red-infused numbers and sheer frocks. We especially loved Rachel McAdams' white sheer Zimmerman dress. The delicate number had a vintage vibe that brought us back to old Hollywood glam. We also loved Amber Heard's sheer nude Ellie Saab gown with neutral floral embellishments.

As for the red trend, Elle Fanning looked effortlessly flirty and chic in a peasant-like Gucci gown reminiscent of a Spanish dancer. The purple bow in the center of the dress gave it an unexpected and appealing edge.
