The Internet Is Made of Cats: Exhibit Traces Phenomenon

The Internet is made of cats.

They are the celebrities around which millions of photos and videos are centered. The phenomenon is so big that there is a whole movie festival dedicated to footage showing these creatures.

But how did that happen?

The Museum of the Moving Image in New York is on a quest to trace back the phenomenon and take you on a journey to show you how it began and developed with an exhibit.

The exhibit will be open between August 7, 2015 to January 31, 2016.
