While we are coming to realize the usefulness of drones in commercial and business operations, the incidents they cause are in the headlines every week, and this one is pretty unique.

According to AP, on July 29 a quadcopter dropped a package full of drugs into the Mansfield Correctional Institution near Cleveland.

The Department of Rehabilitation and Correction commented that the package contained more than 2 ounces of marijuana, an ounce of heroin and 5 ounces of tobacco.

Video footage from the facility showed the package being dropped close to one inmate and soon a fight broke out. Officers had to contain the violence by pepper-spraying the inmates.
